Hero background

Eleven years. Over 10,000 projects.
One company behind all of it.

Kilgore Energy LLC has built energy systems since 2015, as Nerd Power for solar and battery storage and as Kilgore Energy for critical power and data centers. The projects, the crews and the licenses all belong to the same company, so the one you contract with is the one that did the work.

The record

Built on 10,000+ projects,
not on a slide deck.

Nerd Power started in 2015 installing solar, and spent the next eleven years building what a developer cannot buy on the way to a data center: crews that have deployed over 10,000 energy projects, the licenses behind them, and a permitting and interconnection history with the utilities and authorities that decide whether power gets delivered.

Kilgore Energy is that same company pointed at critical power and data centers. It develops and delivers those projects; Nerd Power runs the solar and battery storage work. Different markets, one operating record, and one legal entity standing behind both.

Structure

Two operating businesses.
One legal entity.

Kilgore Energy runs the critical power and data center projects. Nerd Power runs the solar and battery storage projects. Each has its own market, its own customers and its own site, and legally they are one company. A counterparty needs that last part most, so it is drawn rather than described.

Legal entity

Kilgore Energy LLC

The party that signs. Both operating businesses sit inside this outline, so the record and the contracting party cannot diverge.

Kilgore

Critical power and data centers

The operating business for critical power and data center projects: siting, power verification, interconnection, entitlement, offtake structuring, capital and delivery, from utility scale down to the containerized megawatt. This site.

What we do
Nerd Power

Solar and battery storage

The operating business for residential and commercial solar, battery storage and microgrids since 2015, with its own customers and its own site. The crews, the licenses and the permitting history were built here and belong to Kilgore Energy LLC.

Financed projects

A financed project gets its own entity.

Where we raise capital to fund a project, that project is held in a special purpose entity of its own, so the obligations of one project stay with that project and away from the next. The row is the pattern, not a count, and none of them is named here.

Two operating businesses, one balance sheet. A business line adds a market and a team, not a second company and not a second set of obligations, so one signature binds everything inside the outline. A separate outline beneath is a separate entity.

The counterparty

The record belongs to the company that signs.

The operating history is not a claim about a partner, an affiliate or a predecessor. The crews, the licenses, the permits and the over 10,000 energy projects deployed since 2015 belong to Kilgore Energy LLC. There is no second balance sheet to reconcile.

Specialist scopes are brought in by contract where a project needs a capability the company does not hold itself, and that is stated per project rather than folded into the structure. The full track record, with the counting basis behind the project figure and the utility and license lists, is released through the data room per opportunity.
